~A former customer
Visiting this Lowe's was one of the most atrocious experiences in my life. The manager Matt(blonde hair) was supposed to be assisting me with service as I was confused to where some items where and all I got was a rude hump back having German looking sweaty eyed filth on his phone. The front where he was residing smelt of Halloween candy and the trash bags you find near a seawer on the corners of South side new Jersey. Who ever hired that rude and excessively sweaty gentleman should be ashamed of themselves.
Total joke! I placed an online same day pickup. Next day after order still showing being processed, I went to the store. I was told my order was cancelled because they must not have had it. NO notification to the customer at all? Even better, item still showing in stock and ready for pickup. Also, zero apology from anyone. Thank you for the huge waste of time Lowes!
That was my last visit...I'll drive the extra miles to go to Home Depot, the next time I want to spend a few hundred dollars in a big box DIY store.
It truly sucked. I've spent $24,000 at this store in the previous 10 months. They wouldn't even give me store credit on an item I bought with cash last and on a Lowe's brand item I bought a few months ago. No receipt, no service no matter how much I spent.
The last two visits that I have made here seem to be causing me to lose faith in Lowes as a brand and store. First of all every single time I come here there is never any free carts for building supplies. Its not even that other customers are using them, they seem to be in use as storage by the store itself. This is often quite frustrating and a huge time waster. Also despite the size of the store there is never enough help when you need it, nor enough registers open. Self checkout is fine for small stuff; unless of course you have building supplies. Two visits ago I asked for contractor help to help install a vent underneath my house (which is a service that they offer through outside contractors). Rather than finding me someone or taking me seriously, the guy at the counter just gave me suggestions on how to do it myself. Sure it would be cheaper to do it myself, but I would rather have someone who specializes in that kind of thing do it so its done right. On the positive side the store does have a good selection of parts, hardware, tools, and other things that you might expect. Where the store usually shines is their lawn and garden department. But this alone isn't enough to save the store over all for me. Sadly there really isn't much else in the area unless you drive into Orlando.
Not only was the customer service horrible, but the management didn't even care enough to say "I'm sorry" after I waited twenty minutes to speak with a manager.
