I was very upset after leaving both times. I went in with my parents to value some family jewelry. If you’ve ever seen Pretty Woman, picture that. I was wearing athletic shorts and a college t-shirt and was treated very poorly by their staff. Another gentlemen in business attire came in and the staff left us mid-service to swarm him. Although I am very interested in purchasing some jewelry, and have the finances to do so, I will not be doing business with them and will not recommend them to anyone.
I only have wonderful things to say about Pittman Jewelers. I have been wanting to reset my wedding ring adding diamonds from earrings my Dad had given me years ago but didn't know a jeweler I trusted. Mike and Cecelia have worked with me so patiently with great suggestions without rushing me to make decisions. I couldn't be happier with the results and we are now working on other family pieces that need resetting / customization. They are a family owned business that I trust with our sentimental family jewelry. They are all a pleasure to work with... friendly, respectful and most importantly, take great care in providing quality products and customer service... making this repeat customer very appreciative and happy.
Staff has been very professional and friendly. The ring we asked for is exactly what we wanted and ordered. They recognize us by name when we come in to have it cleaned or have questions. When we brought the ring in to get looked at for minor fixes it's been done that day.
My experience at Pittman Jewelers was GREAT! It's difficult to find a true craftsman who is experienced and knows how to resolve a problem. My watch required attention and the service and professionalism delivered by the staff were above and beyond. Don't compromise. Visit Pittman Jewelers first or you will end up there eventually.
